Our unique approach focuses on the relationship between your spine, your nervous system and your muscle system. Realizing that all movement is controlled by your brain, clear communication pathways are needed for proper muscle function and movement patterns. Poor alignment in your spine and body, in addition to poor spinal flexibility, stability and a loss of the critical movement between each vertebra contribute to a wide variety of patient complaints.
Areas that may be affected include your back, neck, hips, knees, feet, shoulders, arms and legs.
And yes, we treat kids too!
At Edgemont Chiropractic Clinic, we use education, advice, spinal manipulation, manual therapy, soft tissue therapy and exercise rehabilitation to help our patients get results.
Attending to problems early in life is the best way to avoid becoming less active and living with aches and pains as your years advance.
As our population ages, research is clear that frailty in advancing years can be avoided. A predictor of disability and weakness with age is a lack of mobility and strength early in life. Many people become disabled and frail due to direct and indirect results of back and neck pain.
